Signs & Displays
Here is a few pictures of some top lit signs and displays that we used over the years. In the past I have sold
some of our antique top signs to some of the rental companies to put on their new digital machines to make
them look retro. I had about 20 left but unfortunately I had some shelving collapse and they were all destroyed.
(Don't use Plano Resin Shelving for storing anything of value...)

Model 11 Top Sign (left)
It has a red, blue, yellow and transparent filtre in behind the front plexi and a
motor in the middle. The motor would move the filtre around inside the channel
(about a 1/4" inside a channel) giving a shimmering coloured effect to the sign.
This was very cool except that the bulbs would dry out the filtre causing it to
get brittle and pop out of the channel causing self destruction. Of all the signs
I have sitting around the filtre has been removed from all but this one.

Apart from the original factory displays from the 50's & 60's the majority of pictures on the displays were the operator's friends &
family. Most of the displays below feature some pics of me as I grew up, some of my friends, the girls at the bank we used etc...
You will also find pics of a young Jeff G. from A-P Montreal who is the same age as I am and has no doubt endured the ribbing
through those awkward teenage years as I did. You will now find pics of both our kids on the booths :P
